chicken bark
Today I moved their run out of most of the mud and onto fresh grass. This meant moving a number of houses - I'm just hoping they will work out where to go at bedtime. I'm expecting some musical chairs!

Eggasperated
Mine survived being moved yesterday from the Solway, which was squashed by a tree - see the weather thread, indoors into cat baskets then back out to a new area and with the eglu I had spare which two of them had never slept in before. There was a bit of confusion at bedtime but by this morning they seemed to have got themselves sorted. Hopefully yours will be able to work it all out - I always reckon it only needs one or two sensible ones then the others follow. I am assuming you did remember to get some sensible ones

goodinparts
I too visualised praying chickens - but then, I am a vicar..... So - tell us - did they behave? I'm going to want to do some moving of housing shortly & wondering what I'll be letting myself in for....
chicken bark
I have re-read the title and I see what you mean! Well did I have sensible ones? Possibly - if sensible is finding any house in a storm. They are all in houses tonight - not necessarily ones they are supposed to be in but as long as they are covered up I don't care. It'll be fun when I section of the Pekins and give them a house of their own. I imagine a lot of flying over fencing to get back 'home' when I do that.
