Mrs Frugal
Latest news from the University of Nebraska Eggcam..... UPDATE Friday, April 1, 1:30 PM CT: Most of the chicks went to a farm family today. We candled the duck eggs and only one was fertile - we'll keep trying to find more duck eggs to hatch. In the meantime, we've put the egg in with another incubator filled with eggs from an assortment of birds. Keep watching - we'll post what kinds of eggs are on EGG Cam and the expected hatch date on Monday. Should be interesting to see what hatches ! Louise
Just went to have a look expecting to see the duck egg maybe hatching - what a fright I got when confronted by .......................horses They have moved the camera until the eggs hatch and the chicks on it now must be a large room and there were a group of people on horseback looking at them I felt so daft as there were no chicks in sight at first just horses
SarahJo
Looks like they are in an Indoor-Arena ... nice chicks, and nice horses
Louise
Not bad given it must be about 6 or 7 am out there!! I am easily scared by horses I got kicked badly when I was little I will go near them but I am very wary no wonder I got a fright
Lesley
I think the horses are wallpaper - like a big mural. I'd rather see eggs

Louise
They have got more duck eggs this week but they now have a link to some nesting peregrine falcons as well I will try to set the link but knowing my luck http://www.ngpc.state.ne.us/wildlife/falcon.asp If that doesn't work we will have to wait for a wand wave from a moderator
