BizzyMomma Posted January 16, 2012 Share Posted January 16, 2012 Oh yes.... I am soooo happy right now As you might recall my hens were attacked on 30 December by my neighbours dog? Well I am VERY happy to report that this morning when I let the girls out, there in the nesting box was an egg from Sunny!! Her first one in 16 days...Eva is too busy growing back half her feathers and healing her back up right now, she has however gained the courage to come out and FR with Sunny (under very close supervision from me) yesterday afternoon, so we are making progress! I had placed a wanted add on here for a Classic Eglu when I first started posting? Well the day that Sunny laid again, I found a PM from a fellow member asking if I had found one yet as she was putting hers up for sale?? We passed a few messages back & forth and an agreement was made. So yesterday I made a trip over to hers and became the proud owner of a Oh and to cap it all off, Sunny has laid daily for a week solid now Bless Her in fact she's getting quite pushy again and is deffo top hen to Eva's obvious disgust Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Had meant to post about it, you jogged my memory, been a busy week-end between road trips and trying to stay upright in a force 10 gale in a very muddy field hanging onto a very fresh Welsh Cob who desperately wanted to get in to her warm stable & haynet at a great rate of knots Now I have to make my mind up what I want to put in the decisions, decisions eh??
