Cinnamon Posted June 20, 2007 Share Posted June 20, 2007 I am just back from Reading where I went into Boots to get some of my most favourite hair product, "Ocean Waves" by John Frieda. They have Bl***y well discontinued it Not only that,but the entire Beach Blonde range has gone. I am really fed up - I LOVED this stuff Its a sort of coconutty sea spray styling product which made my curly hair go into nice long ropes.Cleo used it on her hair too. Its selling for £20 a bottle on Ebay Anyone else got an old favourite they can no longer get hold of because the powers that be decided to discontinue it? Waitrose used to sell the most fab chicken curry - CTB and I would buy 8 each week now it's no more and there is no substitute. Also i used to buy bucketfuls of Sorrell juice drink made by Schloer- also now discontinued. It wouldn't be quite so bad if you got a bit of notice and could stock up but what annoys me is that these things are not just sitting on a shelf gathering dust in the shops - sometimes they were hard to get because they'd sold out.......GGGRRRRRRRRR Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Body Shop are very good at discontinuing ranges that WE ACTUALLY USE including, Seaweed and Peony shampoo and conditioner and watermelon aftersun. I love Baxters Cranberry Jelly but hardly anywhere stocks it, most places just sell the sauce (and I prefer it without the lumps!).
