KimmyCustard
The girls have been needing extra vitamins lately. I was giving them limestone flour in their feed to help with softie eggs. They went on a hen holiday and was a little stressed and not laying when I got them back so I put some Avipro in their feed. Two are moulting and the others could just do with a little support, so I gave them Poultry Spice! Can anyone advise me which to use for their best benefit please? I wasnt sure if I could put all three in their feed so they have the benefit of all of them but I dont want to overload their little bodies nor do I want to mix the supplements in case that doesnt agree with them either. What do I do for the best, so they have help with new feather growing, softie eggs and support with the stress of their holiday? Thank you very much. The Dogmother
I don't think that you need all 3 Kimmy water soluble tonics are usually better than the powdered spice type ones. Life-Guard is recommended for stressed birds.
Redwing
of the three you are using the Poultry Spice is the best for the current situation
jaspersmum
We've had brilliant results with Poultry Spice too - and they seem to love it! We use it all the time on our hybrids and ex-batts as they're all senior citizens now and they're all very healthy and laying regularly. We've tried the liquid tonics which you add to their drinking water but have found sometimes they then won't drink it Good luck!
Tweety
I swear by Lifeguard, it's excellent stuff. As the others have said, they don't need all 3 supplements at once, Poultry Spice on its own will be fine.
