He never gets dirty My Cyrus is a nesh beggar (although not known for his brain power) and hates getting wet or muddy; on Saturday I took them walking by a favourite stream, Ruby waded in to eat some wild water cress while Cyrus crouched on the bank, stalking and waiting for her to come out so he could jump on her..... next thing i knew he'd jumped in the stream to surprise her and shocked himself so much that he shrieked and jumped straight out again! It's a struggle even to get her into the garden for a wee when the grass is wet We took her to Cornwall last Autumn and went to the beach. She was NOT keen on the sea at all (loved running on the sand though), but ended up running in without realising when she was playing with another dog who clearly loved the water! The look of disgust and horror on her face was hilarious! On the plus side, we never have to worry about taking a filthy wet dog home in the car after a walk. When I was little, the lady who ran the riding stables I go to owned two Borzois. I always remember these two very tall, slim and elegant dogs wandering round the yard with a slight air of superiority Beautiful dogs.
