Chookiehen
When do you think would be the best time to try and sell olympic merchandise on ebay? Now, during or after the event? Lloyds TSB issued limited edition mugs to their staff, when they first announced they were sponsoring the event, and my ex got two different designs. I still have them in the cupboard somewhere, and I can't decide whether to keep them or not!
rachel19
Have you looked for any others on Ebay at all? That would give you a guide as to what they might be worth I suppose. I'd imagine they won't be worth an awful lot at the moment - you'd probably be better off hiding them away for 20-30 years. How limited were their numbers? patsylabrador
Don't know if this helps but Olympic merchandise was massive in British Museum shops yesterday and tourists did seem to be buying it.
bluekarin
After a brief search, there are lots of things listed, but nothing seems to be bought. Might be worth holding onto it for a bit longer. Unless you do one of their free listings weekends.
Looney
Hmmm Everywhere seems to be flooded with Olympic merchandise now, though the mass produced stuff not limited edition items. I went into Cambridge at the weekend and was surprised just how much was on sale. I agree about keeping your eyes on EBay to see if/when things start selling.
