Cate in NZ
Got to admit I've had it on in the background this evening while I've been cooking and cleaning and have enjoyed it far more than I ever thought I would. Off to do the school uniform ironing with the concert on in the background in a few mins

Mel (& Paul)
ok just flipped over when (& Paul) nipped out to get some wine A number of Jospeh's singing "Any Dream Will Do" backed by kids wearing "Chickenshed" t-shirts. An omen eh? Right, off to buy more chickens and put them in a rainbow of eglus
Couperwife
why were they wearing Chickenshed tshirts? I didnt watch any dream will do - maybe there was a reason given there
theherd123
Chicken Shed is a drama company in London set up to be an all inclusive group of young people who want to get involved in drama & stage including young people with disabilities They have been around for years and i think they are fab! http://www.chickenshed.org.uk/
Couperwife
how fab is that???? some of the littleies looks absolutely terrified (awww, bless) and others looked real confident
Cate in NZ
Emma, you beat me to that response, I'm a huge Chickenshed fan, such a brilliant concept and those children seem to get so much out of their inclusion in it. I did like the Josephs (was a Donny fan in my early teens ) and am still singing "any dream will do". But how tight were Jason Donovan's trousers I'm amazed that he could move
theherd123
But how tight were Jason Donovan's trousers I'm amazed that he could move I could make a comment here about his religion but its a family forum so
Cate in NZ
But how tight were Jason Donovan's trousers I'm amazed that he could move I could make a comment here about his religion but its a family forum so His religion He couldn't kneel to pray to any deity in those trousers Go on then Emma.......... you've got me curious now, it was always Dnny I associated with religion, not Mr Donovan, just click that PM button and put my curiosity out of it's misery
Tina C
Errrmmm and I thought I had led a sheltered life! Can't believe I missed it (doing chicken stuff - spent afternoon moving ex-batts and their omlet netting to a new area adjacent to the omlet girls - we will integrate them one day!) My friend works at the Chicken Shed and she told me to watch it - and I missed the Anneka Rice thing they did there a few weeks ago. Its such a fantastic project and Diana really helped kick start it.
Lesley
We recorded it from that point (Josephs) as Jazz had to be taken for her walk and it was so nice outside - I'm off to watch it now.
starboyhull
Hi guys...... Well the concert was fab
chelsea
Hope you enjoyed the concert ! I channel hopped between the concert and other things (especially when Jos Stone was on - cant stand her ) anyway, dont know what the atmosphere was like when you were actually there in the stadium, but it didnt seem very loud/enthusiastic when I was tuning in....and also the stadium didnt seem very full (lots of empty seats) but maybe thats just me and it was better when you were there? Lesley
For some reason the BBC kept cuting the sound - just when you'd expect enthusiastic noises It made it sound very subdued.
starboyhull
My dad said that about the sound earlier.........It was very noisey lol probably had to cut the crowd out to hear the singers properly.......We noticed quite a lot of empty seats......It was totally sold out so not sure why so many empty places....... Really glad we went, although 6 hours standing (most of the time) was long enough lol The price of food ...........Was out of this world, 4 burger and chips 30 quid.........I think chewing cardboard would have been a better option
