patsylabrador
YS is on it tomorrow too but in a police capacity. Been watching it go through local areas today like Harrow and wembley and kingsbury. Saw a 100 yr old lady and a triple amputee soldier. Both amazing people.
Seagazer
Just watched a programme on BBC about the people carrying the Torch. The soldier Ben (can't remember his last name - is it Parkinson?) who lost his legs and had multiple injuries brought tears to my eyes watching him carry the torch. What a brave man. Lovely to see the smiles on everyone's faces of the torch bearers and the crowds.
bluekarin
I watched that too. I had to go and get some tissues and was in danger of actual sobbing at one point. Sort of glad my ED didn't get through to carry it. I don't think I'd have been able to see her through the snot and tears and she'd have disowned me
patsylabrador
I think I saw your friend Chucky Mama if she was at Shepherd's Bush Green and has a golden retriever. It was a lovely moment.
