That's interesting Dogmother as my girls had Farmgate layers pellets when they came to us they seemed to like the stuff

and there poo smelt fine I wouldn't say they went mad for it like meal worms or corn though..

Then again I haven't tried Smallholders or Garvo yet...

Or mash but I do know I'm not at all happy with what they are eating now

Think I might try smallholder but am getting v confused

After not able to get garvo and having my girls turn their beaks up at the basic pellets from our local pet shop which was nothing but a load of dust , I have changed to Growers Pellets with Bokashi from Wiggley wigglers ..They love them. I used to get bokashi from them as it helps with their poo so now it comes mixed.

Mine once had the WW pellets with Bokashi (friend gave me a bag when her's didn't like it) and it was popular.

I use Organic Feed Company pellets - are they actually the same company as Smallholders and Allen and Page, does anyone know? I know the websites are linked.

 

I used to get them delivered but got too many burst bags (and unsympathetic retailers who seemed to think that because it was in a delivery bag (along with other goods), it wasn't a problem). I get it from a farm shop about a 40-min drive away now.
