has this ever happened to anyone.

 

i didnt think that was even possible it first happened the other morning one of the eggs i collected were different from the others then i went out this morning and there was 1 extra but it was identical to the other egg my best hen lays.they all lay different shape eggs this is how i can tell

One of my hens has just started laying, and she gave us two softies on Fri. Both were perfectly formed apart from having no shell. One of them was laid late in the afternoon, so I was sure she would take yesterday off, but she laid a normal egg (70g) yesterday morning. I think it can just take young hens a while to get things right.
