chocchick
Is he(?) yours or a share, or loan. My dream is to share/own a horse You'll have to describe all in words
Mel (& Paul)
He's ours - all ours He's a 14.2hh New Forset Pony, 9 year old gelding. Dapple Grey in colour. He's an absolute sweetie - bomb proof but ready to go if you want - perfect for first time horse owners like us We've only had him a week and are waiting for some friends to buy one themselves so that we can share the looking after and the ride outs. We went on our first ride out on him today - Paul walked the woggles, whilst I rode and then we swapped over - a bit scary but great fun! Snowy
Congratulations Mel! He sounds gorgeous! It is scary that first time you are out on your own on your very own horse isn't it? Hope you have loads of fun with him in the future - here's to many more happy rides! (Only, you know that if both you and &Paul ride, you wiill need 2 horses - especially for the pub crawl rides in Summer! )

ubereglu
Very cool, I love horses, but haven't done a lot of riding. If we ever meet each other again can I have a ride Mel?
Couperwife
eeek, I havent been horse riding since I was about 11 we live about 20 minutes from the North Yorkshire Moors- there are plenty of places to ride - maybe I should go and try (I can see Couperman going off and hiding his cheque book )
ubereglu
The North York Moors are lovely aren't they Couperwife? Apart from when there's a nice rainstorm. I'd recommend trying to learn to ride-it's something I'd love to do...but can't afford.

It was like a cartoon, took all the skin off my legs too. You'll never guess how long I've taken posting this in case i offended anyone ho hum... You could do with that 2nd pony to keep yours company. What's his name?
