Hi all,

I didn't post on Omlet about doing my new set up, it was a 2 day job that we did spare of the moment. However we did plan everything like sizes etc.

We decided to do it as we are In the future thinking about a baby and we don't want chicken poo around the garden with baby playing on the grass etc. also it's ideal where they are. I can see them all at the same time and it makes use of an empty area. We used to have a garage and greenhouse there but they were deemed unsafe so they came down and after a year or we decided to move the hens. It cost us around £120 to do this, the netting, solar lights, fake plants etc. we tried to use a lot of things from around the garden e.g plant pots that have never been used, the bench, the canopy was a shade we already had and the water fountain lived in a different place

Anyway tell me what you think, we'd love to hear your comments :D

Looks great, I love the bricked courtyard for them.

My girls have their own area and the rest of the garden looks great in fact both areas do even though they are out for a time every day and more at weekends, I think putting the poultry grass down has been worth it.

You have to consider your little ones when they come. Any news yet? :D

Hi plum, thankyou, never really looked at the bricks before - they were already there but now you mention it I've noticed it! Does that make sense?!?

No baby dust has been sprinkled yet!!! we've got to plan properly as I have epilepsy so dont want to rush and have a difficult pregnancy or harm the baby, on the plus side, I have an eternity ring in mind!!! Xxx
