Am still trawling Gumtree/Preloved/Oxford Daily Info for a tall pine chest of drawers and have come across some ads which have obviously been posted in a hurry by someone who's attention had slipped for a vital moment

 

I particularly liked the Vanished Pine Chest and Pair of Floor Lumps Will update with any further howlers!

Just seen an ad on Oxford Daily Info for a Child's Scooter with Hamlet (presuming thats a safety hamlet ?)

Just spotted a 'GP's Satellite Navigation system' for sale online (GPS - I guess, not that I know exactly what that stands for?!) Presumably so Drs can find their way round when making home visits!

Whoop, whoop finally got my pine chest of drawers via Gumtree! However, this meant that I then had to sell on the two bedside 3 drawer chests that I had been using which were too small!

 

I put them on Gumtree and had a response very quickly from a chap who wanted to by my 'three chests'. I e-mailed him to say that, actually, there were only two as per photos and description (which was very clear!!)

 

He then e-mailed back to apologise for having misread the ad but asked that, as there were only two, would I accept £20.00 instead of £30.00?

 

This whole'buying a chest of drawers and selling two bedside cabinets' has been a real education (and the cabinets havn't gone yet!)
