Groovychook
I'm making pizza for tea and am wondering if some home made tomato sauce I made last Saturday night would still be okay to use? It's been in a pyrex jug covered with cling in the fridge all week. Looks, smells and tastes okay and seems a shame to waste it. What do you think? I would normally make a fresh batch because I'm a bit of a coward about things like that- don't want to poison us!!
Lavenders_Blue
You've probably made your pizza by now, but if it were me - yes I would probably use it. I take the view that anything that gets blasted in a 200+ degree oven is probably going to be fairly safe to eat!
Groovychook
Yes, I threw caution to the wind and used it!! I haven't keeled over yet, so I'm hoping that your golden rule is correct Thanks for the reassurance
