My OH and I are contemplating adding a few Khaki Campbells to our little flock of 3 hybrid hens, I'm just wondering how you went about intergrating them all together and if there are other concerns whilst doing this, other than the usual pecking etc?

 

I've read and heard very different opinions on keeping chooks and ducks together so it would be good to hear your pros and cons.

Is it okay to keep chickens near open water? I have heard that they can knock each other into the pond and then they cant get out? Is this true?
