starboyhull
Hi guys.......I have not posted this in the duck section as I dont think its the right place for it..... Anyway I bought some duck eggs today (for the first time) and they have no stamp on them at all, is this normal for duck eggs, I did buy them from a shop...... Lesley
What sort of shop Karl? - I didn't think duck eggs were exempt from stamping but I could be wrong I only sell duck eggs to two people and as it is direct, I don't need to stamp them, same as the hen eggs. starboyhull
It was actually Peter Barratts garden centre, a national store, the one in Hull has a food court and it was from the fresh produce section.....Most of the food is sourced locally so I am guessing that they will just be from a local farm but I just wanted to check...... The egg box does have a best before label so I am not too worried I just wanted to check thats all before I bring it to their attention.......
