Jenthelibrarian
Just in from a Saturday morning shop and thought I'd share... Wilkinson's have 100g of dried mealworms, in a nice plastic tub, for the knock-down price of £2.00! Amazingly good value, esp considering how expenisve the posh branded garden bird food ones can be. Has anyone, anywhere in the entire history of chicken-keeping ever met a hen who turned her beak up at mealworms? I think not!
auntielizzie
Last weekend I was amazed to find 100g tubs of mealworms for £1 in Poundland! I splashed out and bought two!
Eggasperated
Home bargains has them in bags for 99p - although I do decant them into a tub as my cat loves them and will chew through the bag to get at them . Mind you I think I ought to be worried about her as she eats the layers pellets as well if she can find them .
Luvachicken
Has anyone, anywhere in the entire history of chicken-keeping ever met a hen who turned her beak up at mealworms? I think not! Sorry to say that my Lucie doesn't seem to like them much at all, but all of my other 5 do
