Ain't Nobody Here
I'm very glad it's not occurred to my mum to send a card like that .
Egluntyne
Oh no Lesley! I'd display it in a prominent place so that family members can read it and see her true colours.
Ziggy
We have a priceless piece of hate mail from Mother in Law this year (she's off on one at the moment ) She's written her nasty message in a card which has a picture of a dove and the inscription Peace on Earth I'll keep it with the hate mail OH received in a birthday card from his brother a few years ago Wow . That's the winner in my book . I agree, that sounds like the winner... my goodness Makes any other Xmas card a total delight!!
Chortle Chook
Are you sure the dove is not carrying a hand grenade rather than an olive branch? I'd agree that has to be the winner
Lesley
The dove could well be carrying a grenade I shall have the last laugh - she was being really horrible a few weeks ago and says she wants to see OH on his own, I'm not welcome (again - and we've only been together 20 years ) When I wrote the few cards that I post I wrote one for the brother in law that we do speak to and then told OH that if he needed cards to send then they were on his desk.....they're still there
Chortle Chook
That's exactly what I do with OH's family as I never know from one year to the next whether they are on speaking terms
Willow
Not an odd card but the cutest card I received has a chicken in the snow with socks and a little woolly hat
The Dogmother
Awww. Rosie has a stash of cards form the small children who she babysits for or childminds in the holidays; they are lovely and very personal, the children brought them round themselves, so they had a good chat about making the cards too. She's delighted.
