Lesley
Citricidal, garlic and bokashi work well with the chooks. Have you tried them yet? How about WD40. It cures anything. Toothache, piles, creaking gates. Maybe it will cure the keyboard. Makes a note never to employ Egluntine or Kathy C for an IT job I don't think I'd want either of them as my GP either

The Dogmother
The USB keyboard shold be ok Kev - all our consultants use them because laptop keybaords aren't brilliant and if they're doing any amount of typing it's back for their wrists and posture (sorry, H&S hat on there) My typing problems are usually down to being too tired or a useless typist! Couperman
I have managed to borrow a usb keyboard from the IT dept at work, so we are back in business until we can get the laptop repaired. Kev.
Couperwife
horrrayyyyyyy, I can type again, without having to hammer on the keys in the middle of the keyboard, and also feel like there is a weird ghost like thing in the middle of the room hitting the m key. woooohhoooooo
Couperman
shortlived Cathy I feel! the original keyboard does not want to be over ruled and has developed a sticky key thing!! it wants to add a zero or a h at every opportunity it just took me ten minutes to log on. Is there anyway I can disable the onboard keyboard and force it to use the usb one? Kev.
starboyhull
You might be able to go into the bios and do it, but I have a feeling thats not possible on a laptop.........Have a look, just dont change too much ( or you might cause issues )
