Leicester_H
Hi I seem to recall that Omlet now have a shop that you can visit and browse around - but I can't instantly find out about it - can anyone help please ? Where is it ? Opening hours ? Also, "Cotswold Chickens are proud to be only one of two suppliers of the full Omlet products" - who is the other one ? Thanks, H
soapdragon
There is a thread on the Announcements board at the top of The Nesting Box headed Retail Outlet (I think - looked it up 5 seconds ago....memory of a goldfish!) but it looks quite old, maybe things have grown since then? Anyway it gives the address (near Banbury) and contact details. If you go please let us know what its like now!!??
Leicester_H
Just phoned them. There was an outlet in a Garden Centre - open at weekends only. There weren't enough customers so they don't have it anymore. H
Purplemaniacs
We went there once and had a look at the Go, we enjoyed our chat with the lady there but it was hard to find and I don't think we would have gone again unless it was to pick something up to save on delivery costs. Sad though if it has closed. Chrissie
cloud
We visited Omlet Shop at Barn Farm Plants about 9 months ago. It was rather small and not that impressive. Stock levels seemed a little random. I would have been disappointed if I came a long way just to visit the shop. I've seen Omlet merchandise being sold in a few places, like The Poultry Centre north of Towcester (part of Bell's Plantation). They tend to have a limited range of cubes and Eglus and some other things like Glugs, Fencing, etc. Useful if you want to see things before purchasing. The Omlet factory (also near Banbury) is open on request. Never visited it (tried once but got lost, and I'm almost local). I'd like to know if anyone have found it and what it was like. Redwing
The Omlet offices are horrenous to find but quite interesting once you get there I remember seeing cube panels piled up and thinking how cool it would be to have a cube with each panel a different colour I think quite a few garden centres can sell the Go, some also can sell the cube but I havent seen the Classic for sale anywhere other than Cotswold Chickens

Thanks - looks interesting for the future - their web site only mentions the Go (I want an eglu) The Omlet factory (also near Banbury) is open on request. Never visited it (tried once but got lost, and I'm almost local). I'd like to know if anyone have found it and what it was like. We collected an Eglu from there before - we did find it after 1 small wrong turn! We plan to visit Cotswold wood to look at a walk in run (probably week after next) and call in at Omlet to collect another Eglu (to save on postage as we'll be reasonably near) - will phone and order first as they'd like 48hrs notice. So will be having a nice Chicken day out soon (and a nice lunch hopefully!), H

Guest
Yes, the Omlet outlet has definitely closed down. Cotswold Chickens does sell Omlet products but only on mail order at the moment as they are busy with a big surprise Just in reply to the above post and to Omlet Stockists... We just wanted to clarify that Cotswold Chickens are currently not authorised stockists of Omlet Products. Omlet Stockists within an hour of Banbury can be found at the following locations: - Bell Plantation Garden Centre, Towcester, They display both the Eglu Go, the Cube and the Forsham Boughton Ark - Warwickshire Chicken Coops, Ettington, They display the Eglu Go and soon to be the Eglu Cube - Newlands Poultry, Malvern, They display the Eglu Go, the Cube and the Forsham Boughton and Lenham Arks However you are always welcome to come to Omlet HQ (we are open Monday to Friday from 9am - 4pm) where we have our Eglu Products on show, but please note we do not have a showroom and any orders placed will have to be made in advance of collection. Many thanks, Quin
Princess Leia
Hazel, As you're in Oadby, I do know that Woodlands Garden Centre on the A447 between Hinckley and Ibstock have an Eglu Go on display. That's not too far away from you?
