Just wondering if anyone has any experience of this. My lovely girl is moving rooms and needs a slightly smaller one than the one she has currently. Being a teenager she needs it now and cant possibly wait the 2 wks most major companies are quoting Had a look on ebay last night and there are a couple of sellers who seem to be both inexpensive and speedy. However I am wondering if its too good to be true. If you can throw any suggestions my way I'd love to hear from you. Thanks as always. Alli x

I got our on eBay - it was solid oak,fast delivery & just what we wanted.

It was also much cheaper than others we had seen - its perfect

DS bought his bed off of ebay and he was very happy with it too

Its always a bit of a punt buying from E bay but don't forget that you can take action if its not up to scratch/as described. In my experience the vast, vast majority of people who use E bay are honest and just wanting to make a little extra from stuff they don't need any longer so you should be fine!

 

Alternativley does your local paper have a classified section or have you tried the local newsagents for ads? In both cases you could probably go and look first before deciding.

Yes we bought our bed new from eBay. It's a super king brown leather sleigh bed and memory foam mattress. Love it and the customer service was fab. It cost a fraction of anywhere else.

My friend bought a double bed but picked it up in a van. It was a gorgeous bed.

Thank you everybody Took cold feet and got one locally, being delivered on Thursday. Her room is looking soooooooooo lovely.

Not bought one but have sold 3 high sleepers, one was collected by a couple in a normal hatchback vauxhall Astra I still to this day don't know how he got it into his car along with a mattress and his heavily pregnant wife it was a big metal high sleeper with desk and chair
