redhotchick
That is very generous Lavenders Blue! I can't believe supermarkets were giving them away! Are you sure you don't want to use it? I'll PM you my address if you're sure. Thanks x
Lavenders_Blue
It's been sitting in my kitchen draw, unused, for at least 4 years so - yes you're welcome to have it! I have no idea how good it is, but if you find it's rubbish you can always upgrade to a better model. ETA - I've just Googled vegetable spiraliser and mine looks NOTHING like as fancy as any of the pictures I've seen. Probably why it was a freebie! Anyway, it's up to you if you want to try it and see how you get on with it.

Patricia W
My daughter in law in Australia has one. Spiralled apples skewered and dipped in batter and fried are a big thing at get togethers over there. They are also used to spiral potatoes which are then skewered and deep fried. I saw several commercial stalls at an Easter Egg Hunt doing fantastic business with these. Personally, I think they must have more free time over there.... redhotchick
Ta da! Thanks L_B it was a lovely surprise when I got home! It's a beautifully simple bit of kit. It did amuse me to see the spirals coming off. Patricia, I thought of fried potato spirals straight away! Yum!
