amys garden Posted April 22, 2013 Share Posted April 22, 2013 We all enjoyed the garden this weekend and even got sunburnt! I think the girls enjoyed our company. I've started the girls on flubenvet after a really good run around the garden and now of course they're Sulking in their run. While they're confined I really get stuck in to a big tidy up and planted some lavender oregano and echinacea outside their run on the kitchen facing side but was wondering if anyone has found any plants that will survive inside a run? jeshen Posted April 22, 2013 Share Posted April 22, 2013 I've found that my bantams don't tend to go for roses, iceplants, skimmia, mint or rosemary. They don't seem to bother with bulbs either. Charlottechicken Posted April 22, 2013 Share Posted April 22, 2013 Nothing, but nothing, survives in my chicken run I have some short, thick plastic mesh that I use to fence off the borders so I can let the girls out on the lawns, in spring and summer.
