Jules.
MONEY MORAL DILEMMA. Should Gordon pay to have Tony’s eggs? Recently retired, Tony has started to keep chickens, allowing them to run free in his back garden. He mostly eats the eggs himself, but sometimes sells them. However, a couple of the chickens have developed a penchant for nipping over the low fence and nesting in his neighbour Gordon’s garden before returning to Tony’s for their feed. Gordon's started eating these yummy, big eggs as they're laid in his garden, but Tony says he should pay for them. Enter the Money Moral Maze: Should Gordon pay to have Tony’s eggs? Previous MMDs: Should Hermione contribute to Harry's little dog Ron? and Should Jeremy and Kirsty come clean? All the above I have cut & pasted from Money Saving Expert.com, I didn't write it! Seem's like Martin may get into chicken keeping....... Edited July 25, 2007 by Guest

Looney
Tony should contain his chickens better! And Gordon should charge him rent for them laying in his garden which surely offsets the cost of the eggs (and is a sight cheaper than buying a new fence). Easy! mountainboarddude
gordon should pay for the eggs or give them back, and tony should contain his chooks better.
Geoid
Gordon should give the eggs back, but Tony should give Gordon a few free of charge [since his chooks are in Gordon's garden]
xraylady
No, no youve got it all wrong Gordon should keep quiet about the eggs, keep collecting them, wash off all the poopy bits, leave them sitting on a warm window-shelf for a few weeks. He should then include them in his famous hangover remedy, their suspiciously sulphurous smell effectively masked by lashings of Tabasco. Then, after being off work for 3 weeks due to severe food poisoning, he should hire a shady attorney (off a TV ad), sue Tony into bankruptcy, use the same shady attorney to shelter his ill-gotten gains in an offshore account, and apply for Social Security Disability Income & never work a day again in his life. Duh! Don't you guys ever watch Court TV?! How do you think we are going to keep over half a million attorneys in the US gainfully employed without cases of gross negligence like this? Jules.
Tony and Gordon is this some complicated political question that I've just not clicked too No, not political, Martin Lewis moneysavingexpert.com always does a different money dilemma each week in his email. The names he uses for these characters are always topical, for instance recently they were called Ron, Harry & Hermione!
