auntielizzie
I'm sure we all have one, but how many times do you change your mind Not so long ago I definitely wanted Wyandottes next, then Orpingtons and last time it was Austrolorps. Now, its Sussex (mixture of colours - especially buff) Who knows what I will end up with I have been told I cannot have any more chickens until the ones I have have reduced to two or less (haha OH thinks I'm going to keep to four chickens, but in my scheming mind I only see the number six ). Oh yes, six is the new four
Gertie
I really would like some Salmon Favorelles but they are really difficult to find. I agree that 6 or maybe 7 is the new 4!! I haven't told my OH what I am planning or that there is another eglu in the garage...waiting. He never goes in there
good_egg
Every time Dot goes broody and every day we go egg free - so quite often then - I wonder about some pretty hybrids next!! Although I had a broody black rock first so perhaps no better
PoachedPlease
Lol 6 is the new 4! For me 5 is the new 3, but because they are chicks they don't count as a whole, as Am desperate for green eggs, one more makes..5 still Xx
gavclojak
Ah you guys with your posh chooks.....I have 5 ex barn hens, one who looks very ropey! I am not sure if she is going in to moult, I am a newbie so can't tell
Lavenders_Blue
Yep, got a hankering here too... Especially as I am down to just 3 girls at the moment I'm undecided between more ex batts or more posh chooks. I'm leaning towards new batties, but then my chicken breeder has some very nice blue egg laying hybrids at the moment. Oh what to do, what to do?!
