Well my lovely ladies have a nice full glug, a gravity water feeder and what to they prefer to drink from? A cat litter tray I filled with water in case they wanted to paddle when it was warm!(don't ask!!) they head for it first thing in the morning and all five stand round it glugging!!!! Silly girls

That sounds about right Mine like nothing better than a nice muddy puddle, or pecking at the drops on the run mesh when it's been raining.

Mine also like to drink out of any shallow container on the ground.

This seems to be to do with the container - I originally thought it was that they preferred rainwater, but it seems they like large, shallow things

Can't put anything like that in their run as they stand/poo in it straightaway

Mine do both of these and when I have hosed down the patio any water laying about from that .

I use a watering can to fill the glug, and ours like to drink out of the stream of water as it pours from the watering can. Failing that pecking off the bars when it is raining is very popular.

I have recently given mine one of those inverted bottles you use for bunnies and g-pigs as a back-up as they do tend to jump on, and into, their Glug when a bit over excited and it sometimes get knocked right over. Haven't seen them use it yet, but hope they'd find it in an emergency

 

What do they *like* to drink from?

They like tea or coffee out of the mug
