I have misplaced Delias Christmas book. Thats it cancel Chrimbo. Then thanked the Lord for the internet and found them on Delia on line.... and breathe. Two Christmas puddings ready to steam tommorrow and fruit steeping in a vat of whiskey as we speak. OH nosey so and so had a peek at the boozey fruit as he was passing. Its his whiskey.

I always remember as a child taking a good whiff (and maybe a little taste!) of the boozy fruit that my mum would soak ready for the Christmas cake. It always felt like a forbidden treat as a little girl!

Well - all cakes and puds made - and was sitting chatting to ES in his little room (we have a chalet type house with bedroom downstairs) and I spotted the book on his shelf. And I;d looked there but you;d only spot it sitting on the bed. Relief - Delia rides again.
