Couperman
I wasn't quite quick enough to post in time! But for those who missed it........A reporter was having a look around the original house from The Good Life. The couple who now own it are pretty much doing The Good Life albeit on a smaller scale! They have an eglu with chooks a wormery and grow their own veg. It's just a shame they only allowed about 25 secs of air time for it. Nevermind! Kev. Couperman
And now they are talking to fox lovers who are actually feeding them specially cooked meals! That can't be good for them can it! Kev.

moochoo
It was very encouraging to see an eglu on primetime bbc. OH and I are interested to see if an eglu is mentioned on Jamie Olivers new programme on channel 4. He's supposed to be at home or something during this show. I wonder if Omlet know they are getting this publicity?
BeckyBoo
I heard a rumour that Jamie Oliver had a cube on order, did he have an eglu before that? Wonder what colour he's got? I suppose he is quite cool so it'll probably be orange! Mrs B
sparkleeeeee
i saw the eglu as well, lovely green one like the one i just bought from dilly. hubbie kept trying to turn text on while it was on, which was really anoying. i also liked the bit about clouds, i might try to tune in for that. i really like jamie oliver, i didnt know he had a new show on i will have to watch that. Guest
Isn't it typical of the BBC to have a prime time programme that does a lovely feature on living the Good Life in the original Good Life house, with a reporter actively encouraging viewers to become greener, to then 'balance' the view with some stupid Glaswegian who provides packed lunches for a fox...... Lovely eglu and run, btw - I assume the owners aren't forum regulars, or I'm sure we'd have known before it was on!

Mrs B Maybe it will be featured on his new show which is all about eating what you produce in the garden
