Lavenders_Blue
You silly boy, Cyrus!
Luvachicken
Awww poor Cyrus, I have just caught up on this page. I hope he is feeling very much better and I expect he'll feel happier once the stitches are out.
The Dogmother
He's feeling fine thanks, and isn't at all bothered about his stitches, which is good. I took a couple of photos earlier to show how well it's healed; I think he has 12 sutures, but it's hard to count them as he fidgets when I look at them.... I count them on Wednesday when I take them out. Ruby and Cyrus on a walk just earlier... he's looking very butch in his toddler's t shirt! A vet nurse friend was very impressed with the rate he's healed at, but conceded that she sees that in raw fed dogs.
Purplemaniacs
That looks like it is healing nicely. They look like they were enjoying the walk. Like the t shirt Chrissie
Lavenders_Blue
Interesting about the healing and raw feeding - I'd not heard that before. The wound certainly does seem to be healing up very nicely indeed. Cyrus looks very dapper indeed in his t-shirt I nearly had kittens yesterday when Tango ran into some hidden wire fencing in some woods. It was obviously very old post and wire fencing that hadn't been taken down, just a very small section and she managed to run right into it and boing backwards Poor wee thing. Thankfully it wasn't barbed wire and she just got a bit of a shock so no harm done, phew!
The Dogmother
Golly, that was lucky - they can really run into it at full pelt too. Hope she's OK. Karen says that she can feel a difference in their muscles when she's treating raw fed dogs too.
Lavenders_Blue
She's absolutely fine Just a bit of a boing and a surprise but no damage done. I can well believe that raw fed dogs' muscles feel different. Tango has amazing muscles - you can see it! I know she does a lot of running about and she does agility, but so do a lot of dogs, and I can really see the difference
The Dogmother
Mine have been fed like kings this week... the gamekeeper at work gave be some venison heart - I sliced it up and froze in portions, they are loving it!
