Mr Rhode Island Red
Hello Everybody, You have probably seen some of the statistics I did about the forum before regarding membership and posts etc. but here is something a bit more visual than what I have done before. I thought it would be interesting to see how fast/slow the forum accumulated all the 14,500 members it has today. So, using the Members search section of the forum I found the following. https://www.dropbox.com/s/scn84hr5jgopfsq/Capture.JPG *The yellow call bubble should say 2011, my mistake*
Couperwife
are you a little bored today Mr RIR? It would be interesting to see how many of those members have ever posted, or regularly post (and no, im not giving you more work to do ) cathy x

chickencam
A fairly steady rise since 2006, but looks like it is tailing off a bit now.
The Dogmother
What that might not take into account is that a vast majority of those don't ever/no longer post. There used to be a regular clear-out of non-posters over a certain 'age', but I'm not sure if this happens any more.
Mr Rhode Island Red
I was hoping it would give an overall trend in the number of members the forum has, taking into account the deletion of non-posters, but having checked the members section there it seem that some 7,000 of the current members are non-posters, meaning these results are now a bit flawed. Dare me to make a new one excluding the non-posters
The Dogmother
Dare me to make a new one excluding the non-posters methinks you ought to abandon the work displacement activity and get on with the housework I have a load of ironing that needs to be done if you're bored. Lots of people may be actively using the forum but not posting.
The Dogmother
Lots of people may be actively using the forum but not posting. From memory, those are in a minority, compared with those who register and never come back.
