chelsea
dont ever give up hope Christian. There was me thinking I would never be allowed to get more chooks or even another eglu and low and behold for some bizarre reason hubby said would I like to go and get some more AND order another eglu!! He even offered a cube if I sold my old eglu. So, one day when you least expect it, im sure you will hear those words that your'e dying to hear ........ "shall we get some more chickens".??...... so just sit tight and your time will come!!

Tony
Just a little thought that you might like to ponder on for next time... "It's better to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission!"
Guest
Just a little thought that you might like to ponder on for next time... "It's better to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission!" Beg Beg Spring is a lovely time to get new chickens - I got my first chickens in November and remember it being a lot of hard work with all the winter weather, and 'mucking out' to do. Spring is a wonderful time - more daylight hours to enjoy them, better weather, and you can watch them thrive. There will be more choice too. The Dogmother
Good idea Dilly I have to restrict myself ... my house... my money... my hard work looking after the chooks. The Boy has the best part - he works from his house, so wanders down to mine during the day to enjoy the girls he is very good though and puts them in the run for me when it gets dark early in the winter
