Red Stop Mite solution

Recommended Posts

I'm very dubious that these sorts of things work, I haven't heard anything good about these sorts of products but will decline to comment on that one in particular as I have no direct experience of it

The reason I wouldn't use such a product is that it assumes you to have red mite. I would rather put my energies in to preventing red mite In the coop rather than keeping the chickens themselves mite free as with my method there will be no mites on the bird in the first place

I don't think it can work... I was up at my Supplier last weekend when a chap came in who'd been using that and still had red mites. I'd stick to a good spot-on preventative on your birds, and a scrupulous regime on your coops.... Total Mite Kill Concentrate and Buz Busters louse powder work fine for me.

Redstop does not stop you from getting redmite you still get them and need to spray and powder but they cannot feed of your birds meaning they cannot breed and they cant harm your birds so will die off in the end ive been using this product since last spring and all my birds are fine leanne :)

Yes but if you keep the red mite out of your coop (and it IS possible) you shouldnt need the liquid
