dancing cloud
When I've made them before I've used the usual digestives-and-butter approach, but it always ends up as a crumby mess rather than a proper base. I just know someone will have a brilliant solution - please share!
Alis girls
I usually use the same. Am on WW diet so did some mini ones using oreos as a base. Yumeeee.
Space Chick
Up the amount of butter and that will make it not crumbly. It has to be a butter and digestive mix in my mind
bluekarin
I love ginger biscuit base mixed with melted butter. Especially with a white chocolate cheesecake topping ala Wagamamas cheesecake As has already been mentioned, you may need to up your butter content. I find some biscuits, like flour, take up differing amounts of butter. Also, press it a bit more firmly in your tin so it forms a firmer base. dancing cloud
Thank you! I'll try more butter and forceful pressing . Any chance of the recipe for that white chocolate cheesecake? Just thinking about it make me !
bluekarin
Sure! http://comfortbites.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/white-chocolate-and-ginger-cheesecake.html My son has requested it for his birthday a few years ago and it was a big hit. He loves Wagamamas version and this is pretty close. I do add lots more ginger syrup than it states though.

I am to usually a fan of white chocolate in puds, as it can be sweet without flavour. This isn't which is what makes it dangerous
