mullethunter
Has anyone used anything from Petzpodz? I'm still looking for a tiny house for my Pekins to replace their cat box and am considering trying the small pod.
mullethunter
No one? Not even for other animals? I admit their website did take ages to come across...
Cat tails
I had a look, but they looked quite expensinve for what you got. The chicken houses were just a bit cheaper than an Omlet house, but looked less sturdy and practical. Never had one myself though.
mullethunter
I do agree But I want something smaller than an Omlet house
Cat tails
I know Ferplast also does a plastic chicken house. It's not that expensive and not incredibly big too.
The Dogmother
I don't have one, but have used them in the past - well built and much like and Omlet product, integral floor on the run too.
mullethunter
Really useful to know - thanks
Lewis
I have one I was using for growers but is now home to Watson the bunny and get on really well with it. It has all the benefits of the eglu's - red mite eradication, insulation, predator proof. Pro's - I much prefer the Petspodz run as it is square so uses all the floor space, the run has a door on the end and on the top so has better access and has the bottom mesh of the run built in so safer from predators. Con's - There is no egg port so have to lift the whole shell to collect eggs, it doesn't have a removable nest box or litter tray so isn't as easy to remove bedding. mullethunter
Thankyou so much that's a really useful reply. I think I'm going to get one for the Pekins.
