Love it....gosh she has a set of pipes on her.....what I love is a few of the awkward looking white folks......especially the old boy who is behaving like it's perfectly normal....

WOW! Wonderful and thank you DM! We went to see the show in London in June as my daughter's 16th birthday treat (instead of a party.) It cost a fortune but was worth every penny, the show is AMAZING!!!!! We had a wonderful day. The singing and what they can do with a stage is just INCREDIBLE. Interestingly, I expected there to be a lot of children, but the audience (a Sunday matinee) was mainly adults with a few children. Another thing I really liked was the cast responded to the audience clapping for 2 encores...quite often you get the final bow and that is it these days.

I especially liked the two little black girls singing and laughing; they obviously got a lot of joy out of it.

 

It's interesting how many people were recording it on their phones, I can understand them wanting to have a record of it, but it reminded me of Kate Bush's request for no phones or filming at her recent first night; she is notoriously shy, but I applauded her request that people relax and enjoy it without interfacing through their phones or tablets. I do hate the way that you just see a sea of phones etc being held up at events.
