Chocobo Posted August 16, 2007 Share Posted August 16, 2007 I'm proud of myself Yesterday i made my first ever quiche, it was red onion and bacon, served with a salad- my family all said it was delicious I also decided to make- just as the food was out of the oven a rhubarb and strawberry crumble which was also good. I'm also cooking again tonight- a recipe i dicovered on here and has become a real favourite of my family- Ham in coca cola! Unlike in the recipe i discovered on here i use a mixture of diet and normal cola- the diet cola seems to evaporate a lot faster, which means that it boils down to a thick gravy when theres a mix. I made it when my aunt and uncle came over from texas. They were very shocked about the fact that i was cooking it with coca cola but they liked it. I'm really looking forward to next year- as it's year 9 i get to choose my options, and im doing food tech. for the first couple of years you only do it for twelve weeks of the year so we can do three techs altogether. so ill be able to do food tech all year (sorry if this post as made no sense, it made sense in my head ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
