I have listened to and loved a couple of Taylor Swift songs! Also I have found myself saying "she seems like a very nice girl"!

Similar subject - has anyone listened to Black Keys album - Turn Blue. I recommend it. It makes me happy to listen to it.

Taylor Swift sings a good pop song, they are up beat and catchy.

She does doesn't she. I already knew one of her songs but didn't realise it was Taylor Swift. My other favourite female singers are Haim and Lorde , it's great to see some genuinely talented women out there. Also loving Niki & the Dove and Naked & Famous .

I'm usually far more inclined towards men's performances ( I'm talking music here btw) so this is quite a change for me.

I love Ella Hendersons voice and Rebecca Ferguson, just shows some good things can come from talent shows.

I like one some of the early ones with the banjos and yee haa style. She is clever though. One lovely song is Oh My My My - a nice story to it.

 

And I rather fancy Paul Sidoti who is one of her guitarists. The spiky haired guitarist isn't bad either!

I'm not partial to Taylor Swift but do like Ghost by Ella Henderson, and I quite like Meghan Trainor's All About That Bass. l tend to like one song by an artist then go off that style and on to someone else. I did think The Band Perry's Better Dig Two was excellent but it is a country song and not something I'm into.

Can' t warm to some of the girls no matter how talented. I really like George Ezra - hes easy on the eye and that voice - ooh goosebumps. Quite like Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran is growing on me. We have some good British talent at the present . Some of the girls no matter how talented are trampy and silly. Oh |I am getting old and turning into my mom.

I must say that there are very,very few modern female vocalists that I like.

I do like Pink though, & Christina, but Taylor Swift isn't for me.

Seriously, if you like listening to blokes I can't recommend Turn Blue, Black Keys enough. I'm pretty late getting to this, I think it was released last year but it is so cool, relaxed, summery and makes me think of travel and adventures. Lots of disco, blues kind of sounds. I love it as you might be able to tell.
