Purplemaniacs
Does anyone subscribe to a monthly sewing box? I wondered if they were any good and thought they might get me back into sewing and making things. Thanks Chrissie
Blackrocksrock
never have seen them - only frivols for patchwork and they seem expensive. Which ones have you seen?

Valkyrie
There's this one too: http://www.quiltybox.com/ I'm not sure what to think about these. Some things look so handy, but then I'm also wondering if I'll be left with a lot of stuff that I don't need. The next Quilty Box will be filled by a young teacher that I've been following online and I'm sure she'll have all sorts that I would like. But postage, customs etc as this one ships from the US makes me think twice even though I'd like to try.
Blackrocksrock
I think I may struggle with left over bits too. I am lucky I have a friend in the states and I ship to her free for most things and then avoid customs as she sends it as a gift to me - I leave her money for postage each year. I was extravagant and bought 2 kits from the craftsy black friday deals and saved over £55 on them and posting. I could pick up in June when I am overif I dont need them before then. But they are a good idea.
