sjp Posted January 17, 2016 Share Posted January 17, 2016 one of my maran crosses started around new year about 2 or 3 eggs a week from her. all my blue a green egg layers are laying through not every day but I'm up to about 18 eggs a week for last week. my LS has started laying but she still can't lay more than one egg in a shell a week and I know one of my brown laying CLB crosses has started to lay but she's on one a month by the look of it and that's down from one a week in November when she restarted Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Hippie Chick Posted January 18, 2016 Share Posted January 18, 2016 My Speckled Sussex, Agatha, has just started to squat again, she finished her moult about a week ago so maybe she may decide to lay an egg soon too! Clara the Araucana hasn't laid an egg since October (freeloader!) since she went broody, then moulted, then it was winter She's not squatting yet but she's started coming up to me instead of legging it and she wants to be picked up again and carried for a bit.
