Helen&Lee
Well our blue cube finally arrived Monday - a bit of a panic around 11ish when they phoned to say the driver was ill - we were going back home with 5 chooks in the back of the car! But James from Omlet saved the day and came out to us - Thanks James! Here are some pictures - First the Black, Buff, Blue and Dark Brahma Babes The Cream Legbar Dark Brahma - the friendliest so far And finally the cube and run.... Its been fab watching them sort their pecking order out - at the moment its a toss up between the Black Brahma and the Buff Brahma as to who is head honcho. They have managed to work out where to go for bed but the Buff and Black sit at the doorway making it impossible for the others to get in!! We tried the torch through the egg port but they didn't get the message! Its still early days so I suppose they will get there! One of our dogs, Dylan is really miffed about them so after scaring the poor chooks witless the first time we are having to put him on a lead all the time.......he did seem to be slightly better today, i think my arm managed to stay in its socket when we came home tonight Helen

Egluntyne
Fab pics. What beauties they are, especially the dark and blue brahmas. Lovely set up you've got there. What are their names?
Helen&Lee
We havent decided on names as yet any ideas would be welcome and yes half the run is part of the greenhouse with all the glass removed and meshed apart from the roof somewhere to hide if it rains!!!! Henypenny
What beautiful chooks, im very envious of your dark brahma Your cube and run looks fantastic im sure they will all be very happy. Our two springs are still convinced that the arrival of the chooks is some fantastic new game surrounding their dinner Barkley is calming a little but Morgan is still a big worry, hopefully over time he will settle down
