Hello all,

I know the site says you can keep something like 10 chickens in an Eglu Cube, but can you really fit that many in there?

It looks a little small to me to keep that many hens, so I was thinking 6 would make a more realistic number to keep them happy?

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Andy

I've had 12 girls in mine, middle of the road sized girlies, mainly medium sized hybrids. There was still space for another 2, but that would have been cosy! They have a run and a good sized garden to free range in, but in their opinion "their area" isn't big enough! They evicted a cat this afternoon from the garden with their girl power!

Okay, well, the run size won't be an issue as I can (within reason) pretty much make it whatever size I want. To be honest, I only want a maximum of 6 ends absolute tops.

Sounds like everything should be okay with that number then.
