Hello there,

 

After establishing that L/F brahmas are a bit too large for my set up, I am now thinking of bantam brahmas. Does anyone know who breeds these birds? I am in the South west but would be willing to travel,

Moorlands Poultry do them, apparently, who was based on the Somerset levels. I've no experience of them myself so can't comment on whether this breeder is any good.

They are lovely Sophie, you codul fit 2 in a Go!, possible 3 if you extend the run. Can't remember the contact details, but if you google for 'brahma club great Britain, you should be able to contact them and get details of breeders.

I rang the brahma club Clare and a very nice lady is getting back to me later tonight. I'm hoping for one pure white and one pure black - I did ask about the lemon pyle and isabella colours but they're quite rare and I'd like to get both the birds from the same breeder. Exciting

Aw thank you Andyroo. Bristol is very near to me and I'm actually going to take OH there so he can see what they look like but their bantam brahmas are all sold out this year - looks like they're really popular!!!

Her name was Ms Russell Clare, she hasn't got back to me so I might have to remind her - she was at work at the time!
