Henergy
I'm planning to add a wildlife pond to my garden this season - can anyone recommend any good books or places where I can info on how to do it ?

Luvachicken
Have no idea about books these days but try to use native plants and do not put goldfish in the pond. I sadly didn't know about the fish when we did our pond 14 years ago and they do tend to eat the wildlife. We used one of those Expert books that you can get in garden centres - The Pond Expert, I think it was but I can't find it right now. Try to make it as big as you can if you can afford to. If you go for a waterlily they don't like moving water from waterfalls or fountains. You will need oxygenators, floaters and marginals as well as a slope for wildlife to get out if they fall in. Hope that helps a bit
Cat tails
A couple made a small wildlife pond on Big dreams, small spaces a while ago. Might be worth watching that back?
