The Dogmother
Over the years, I have heard some pretty inventive pitches for rehoming unwanted cockerels, but a friend sent this to me last night: "FREE WHITE COCK..... Needing a loving forever home before he's roasted on Sunday. If you'd like to rehome Jimmy he'd really appreciate it....He's 14 months old. He loves nothing more than chasing anything be it men, women, dogs, cats, frogs horses etc & usually strikes when your back is turned (I've had some amazing bruises thanks to Jimmy ) he eats a lot & services his ladies whether they're up for it or not (90% eggs have been fertile) ....I've had enough of being chased, assaulted, mauled, bruised & terrified, so......If you would like to give this lovely cock a home PLEASE get in touch. P.S : His antics are getting worse, his attitude stinks & he likes to start crowing at 4.53 each & every morning when he thinks it's time for breakfast. " I said to Anthony that if there's enough meat on the bird, I'd offer him a home in my freezer!
