Valkyrie
Oooh enjoy. I've not ventured that way, but I'm sure it'll be terrific. OH is going to Florida with our daughter and her OH. I'm staying here because my flying days are done.
Grandmashazzie
Enjoy Alisgirls When in New York I booked to see Phantom as I love a good show, also did the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Ireland audio tour. I love America ,the food, walking around, we walked around bits of Central Park and Macys. Boston I loved even more , it’s very small and walkable, we did a couple of the walking tours, a duck tour, amphibious vehicle which the kids loved, Quincy’s market. I can’t remember distances but you probably will be busy enough but we then went on to Martha’s Vineyard on ferry, it is idyllic. We were in Florida last year and with exchange rate noticed everything much more expensive. From memory you have big boys and probably can’t get away with ordering 5 meals between7 as we did, as we have littlies, they don’t bat an eyelid being asked for extra cutlery and plates. Alis girls
Thanks very helpful - like the sound of vineyard. Going to see Mets play - saw Dodgers in California 2 years ago. Yes have big lads with humongous appetites.
soapdragon
Nothing to add on the geographical front, I'm afraid but I gather, from my parents who visited the USA several times, that American portions are somewhat (ie; massively) larger than UK so the lads should be fine! My ES (14.5) has 5 weetabix with a pint of milk for breakfast - gulp - nothing prepares you for how much these lads can eat. He's 5'11 tall and 8st 10lb! Goodness knows where it all goes! What an adventure, though! Please take and post pics! Edited June 22, 2019 by soapdragon Not engaging brain before typing
