Chuck lady
Hi, I'm fairly new to the chicken world so apologies if silly questions. I hatched our chucks 2 years ago in the incubator. Last week our broody(golden top) hatched 3 chicks, mum is frizzle cochin and dad is a silkie. I was sure I'd only given her the frizzle hens eggs. So all 3 baby's are very different colours, yellow, silver and black and gold. Is that normal? Non have frizzle wing feathers. The yellow one is smaller than the other 2 and does not have the silkie black skin but does have the five toes. The other 2 have black skin and five toes. So, will they have silkie feathers or straight feathers without the frizzle? Confused😂

soapdragon
Same here - they are adorable! Seriously though, have they developed any further - it's been nearly a month since your pics? I guess it could just be down to genes! Can you post another pic of them if they have changed? We will try and help, honestly!!!
