So my girls seem very happy with out little set up, and have claimed the bench in the front garden as their own for snoozing when they are tired of free ranging!

I have two questions about my classic though. The first is that the base, under the tray, seems almost porous. It has little black dots appearing that look like tiny holes - is that normal? The second is that the woodchip keeps getting stuck in the slot for securing the door - has anyone got any tricks to stop this!?

Thanks

I poke out anything stuck in the closing mechanism with a long stick.  You might find Aubiose is less of a problem.  Not sure about the porous holes.   There are imperfections in the plastic so it might be they’ve accumulated dirt.  Do you have a picture?

Some of them have teeny air bubbles in the mould, so the dirt gets caught in the holes in use. Soon comes out with a jet wash.

I’ll try jet washing..... I assume it’s not a massive problem?
