John Q
Hi, I'm new to keeping chickens and was hoping someone could help me with some info. I bought two light sussex hens on Sunday past and they both seem to be settling in very well to thier new surroundings. I've noticed one of them seems to have diarrhea with the majority of her bm's while the other is passing normally with the usual cecal poop every now and again. I've read it could be anything from Coccidiosis to eating a disagreeable plant but I'm hoping its just a case of nerves with the new surroundings. She seems to be eating, drinking and foraging normally and doesn't seem nervous around us so I am still a little worried. Has anyone had a similar experience and maybe able to put my mind at rest? Thanks John
Cat tails
Hope they settled down by now. They can have some loose poo from stress. But also eating to much fresh leaved plants like grass or lettuce or cucumber can cause loose poo.
