Polkadot
Hi I purchased 6 hens a year ago from a farm that was closing. In the past 3 months 4 have died and another is now poorly. They start by getting runny poo, stop laying eggs, become lethargic and often stretch or shake their necks. We took 2 to the vet, who gave them antibiotics and flubenvet, but they died anyway. We gave the ones that were left layers pellets with flubenvet in it, but sadly another is showing symptoms. I don’t know what to do. Can anyone help? Cat tails
If I remember correctly flubenver isn’t very effective for gapeworm. Do they also gape a lot? What type of hens are they and what age? There are a number of illnesses that can linger in a flock.
